United Thank Offering
The United Thank Offering, a national organization in the Episcopal Church,
takes care of foreign and domestic missionary needs that are not covered in
the regular missionary budget of the Church.
It is the mission of the United Thank Offering to raise the consciousness of the
whole church to the daily discipline of offering thanks to God through the use of
the blue box and to distribute the fruits of those thank offerings.
Drop a coin in your UTO box as a symbol of your gratitude when you give
thanks for your daily blessings-a good medical report, a good report card, rain
after a long dry spell, etc. We pool our funds nationwide in an "ingathering"
every May.
God calls each of us to grow in awareness of God, our own relationship with
God, and our relationship in community with all whom God has created. One of
God's many graces to us comes through the use of the boxes associated with
the United Thank Offering. Habitual (daily) giving strengthens our spiritual
development and our personal relationship with God.
South American Missionary Society - Honduras
For more than 150 years, mission-minded Christians in the Episcopal/Anglican tradition have been working
together through the South American Missionary Society (SAMS) to...
- reach out to people who have never heard the simple and life changing message of new life in Jesus Christ
- touch lives with the love of God through ministries of Christian compassion
Holy Trinity has been working personally for several years with a SAMS missionary from Texas, Barbara
Boghetich. Barbara receives financial support from the outreach budget of Holy Trinity, from the women of Holy
Trinity (ECW), and from the offerings of our Sunday School children to the children in Honduras. Barbara keeps
Holy Trinity posted on her progress by regular emails.

The Port Cities Rescue Mission Ministries was created to rescue the
poor, hungry and homeless of the Golden Triangle Community by
rendering recovery services in a Christian environment in Jesus'
name. As workers in and for the Kingdom of God they seek to offer
God's love, to make places where they welcome those they serve
with care and compassion, places where hearts are touched, lives rebuilt and hope is renewed. The Port Cities Rescue
Mission Ministries is an interfaith ministry who sees its mission as offering recovery services in Jesus' name to the
homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless by offering shelter and services with dignity and compassion. At the
same time the mission seeks to provide opportunities for volunteers to be served and nurtured as they seek to serve.

Since their beginning, the Southeast Texas Hospice has approached each patient with a team of professionals. Their
interdisciplinary approach provides practical solutions for the entire family.
The Hospice staff carefully coordinates services with the patient, their family, and physicians to design a care plan that
is patterned to meet the specific needs of the patient. This approach insures that each terminally ill patient it serves
receives compassionate, quality care in the privacy of their home from loving family members, friends, and the
Hospice care team.
Holy Trinity supports this ministry through financial support and through the volunteers from our parish community.
